 Walk For Animals!

Join Rhode Island Vegan Awareness on Saturday, October 10, for a fun day to raise awareness and funding for Rhode Island Vegan Awareness!

About this Event:

Our 3nd Annual Walk For All Animals, will be taking place at Johnston Memorial Park: 1583 Hartford Ave, Johnston, RI 02919. The event will begin at 10:30 AM. Following the walk, we are excited to be hosting a vegan raffle. These prizes will be amazing!!

 

Rhode Island Vegan Awareness asks that all participants register online prior to the walk. The cost to participate is $10 per adult and free for children under the age of ten.

Participant COVID-19 Safety Protocol

In accordance with State and CDC Guidelines, we ask that all participants carefully follow the below protocol:

• This social gathering is limited to 50 participants.

• Those who have recently tested positive for COVID-19 or who have had an encounter with someone who is currently sick with COVID-19, are required to stay home.

• Participants will screen themselves prior to the event. Those feeling sick themselves on the day of the walk, have a cough, fever, or have in the last two weeks have traveled to a high-risk location, or traveled outside of the U.S., will opt to stay home and not participate for the safety of others.

• All participants will wear masks while participating in the walk that covers both their mouth and nose.

• Participants will be aware of maintaining at least a six-foot social distance when passing walkers that are not in their group.

• Hand sanitizer and handwashing best practices shall be used before using shared touch surfaces and objects.

• Participants will arrive at the event with only enough time to begin in a proper and orderly fashion. Participants will depart in a timely manner after completion of the event. This is to avoid any unnecessary clustering, grouping, or lingering of/by people.

• Water/drink bottles will not be shared. Participants will be required to bring their own should they choose.
